VC2C Underwater Acoustic Transducer

The Lubell Labs VC2C is an underwater acoustic transducer that operates in the frequency range of 50 Hz to 1500 Hz, with a maximum sound pressure level of 174 dB/uPa/m at 115 Hz. For optimal performance, the VC2C must be correctly pressurized while on the surface to balance the internal pressure with the external pressure at the intended operating depth.

Since the VC2C has a maximum current rating of 3A, it is advisable to install a Bussman AGC-3-R or AGC-4-R fast-blow 3AG fuse in the white signal lead fuse holder to protect the VC2C from burnout. Please note that sales of the VC2C are limited to marine scientists, laboratories, ocean engineers, and military personnel.
